eufy SpaceView S T8301 vs SpaceView T8300: the crib-mount difference
Eufy names the SpaceView S part number T8301 and describes the crib mount as its sole difference from the earlier SpaceView. The two systems otherwise share the same local-monitor design, but an old kit should be identified by its own label and actual mount—not by the family name alone.
What the S changes
The T8301 overview lists one crib mount in addition to its wall mount, and the S setup guide explains how to attach the bed mount to a crib guardrail. Eufy’s product introduction calls that mount the only difference from the SpaceView. The earlier T8300 U.S.-linked manual lists a wall mount and screws, not a crib clamp. This makes the mount the practical distinction when comparing those two named systems.
There is a documentation caveat for T8301: the U.S.-linked PDF identifies T8300-M monitor and T8300-C camera, while a multilingual EU-labeled manual in Eufy’s SpaceView S support documents identifies T8300-M monitor and T8301-C camera. That second manual lists a wall mount rather than the crib mount in the T8301 overview and setup guide. I use the T8301-specific overview and setup guide for the S crib-mount distinction, but do not use either manual to establish a universal retail box or U.S. SKU. For a used kit, check both component labels and make sure the bracket is physically included.
What stays similar
Both product families are direct-to-monitor rather than Wi-Fi cameras. The SpaceView S overview says T8301 is not Wi-Fi capable; its five-inch 720p screen, 720p camera, motorized camera controls and parent-display battery are presented as manufacturer specifications. The setup guide says the camera must remain connected to its adapter. Its rechargeable parent screen does not provide camera backup during a power interruption.
More cameras do not automatically give you multiple pictures at once. The S instructions describe manual switching and a cycle mode for connected cameras, not split-screen. If the household needs two rooms visible simultaneously, compare the exact multi-camera kit and manual rather than relying on a family’s maximum pairing count.
How to choose between a known kit and a current alternative
For an existing owner, compare the parent-monitor and camera labels: the EU-labeled S manual names T8300-M and T8301-C, even though the consumer support introduction calls the model T8301. Inspect the included mount and use the S-specific guide for setup. If you need a new model, do not treat this reference-only T8301 as a current retail suggestion: its current U.S. listing was not verified. Compare today’s products according to local-only viewing versus phone access, camera-side battery backup and simultaneous room views. The current E21 and C10 keep a dedicated monitor while adding different app options; neither should be assumed equivalent in mount or camera power. See the SpaceView S review for its precise limits.
Source basis: Eufy’s T8301 overview and SpaceView S setup guide, compared with the SpaceView T8300 support record and its linked U.S. manual. The separately linked multilingual EU-labeled S manual identifies T8300-M/T8301-C component codes but has a different box list. Package contents and regional retail mapping therefore remain distinct questions.
