eufy SpaceView T8300 or C10: local screen or hybrid monitor?

The earlier eufy SpaceView T8300 and current eufy C10 both include a dedicated parent monitor, but their picture, network options and camera-count behavior differ. Start with whether you want a strictly local screen or a hybrid setup that can also reach a phone.

Local-only or optional phone viewing

T8300 is a direct camera-to-monitor system. Its U.S. support specifications say it is not Wi-Fi capable, so there is no app-based remote feed. The C10 keeps a local parent-screen path without Wi-Fi but can add phone viewing through the Anker eufy app after network setup. If a phone feed away from home is essential, T8300 does not meet that need. If avoiding Wi-Fi is the priority, both are documented local-screen systems; their app features should not be confused with the local mode.

Screen and camera are separate decisions

T8300's manufacturer comparison lists a five-inch 720p parent monitor and a 720p camera. C10 has a smaller 4.5-inch 480p parent display alongside its 2K camera. Camera resolution does not describe the parent-screen panel: a household that watches mainly on the receiver may care more about the display, while app or saved-video use shifts attention to the camera and connected setup. Neither resolution claim is an independent image-quality test.

Power, mounting and extra views

Both products require wired camera power; neither camera's own battery is a backup. Their rechargeable batteries belong to the parent displays, and runtime statements are manufacturer claims rather than guaranteed minimums. T8300's U.S. manual lists one camera and one wall mount, and says the monitor can switch or cycle among up to four paired cameras. C10's base package also contains one camera; its separate support material documents a two-camera split-screen path with an add-on. Do not count an extra camera as included or assume that switching and simultaneous viewing are the same.

The T8300 is an earlier model-reference, not a current U.S. buying suggestion. For its exact box contents and limitations, read the SpaceView T8300 assessment. For a new hybrid setup, compare the C10 review with the E21 review, especially if you need remote phone access, camera-side battery backup or a particular mount.

A monitor is one part of the routine.
