Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Is one fixed overhead camera with an included Flex position enough, or do you need two rooms live at once?
V322NL lists one Pro camera and both a Floor Stand and Flex Stand; moving it does not add another camera or a simultaneous second-room view.
Explore this need in the finder →Would you be comfortable using a Wi-Fi/app camera without a bundled parent display?
The exact V322NL option lists the companion app but no parent display. Away-from-home viewing needs an internet path; it is not a local radio receiver.
Explore this need in the finder →Would the Flex Stand be useful if the bundle does not list a Travel Case?
The product page includes a Flex Stand for another camera position, but its enumerated Signature contents do not name a Travel Case; require the case separately if it is essential.
Explore this need in the finder →The Nanit Signature Bundle (U.S. SKU V322NL) is a one-camera app monitor package built around a fixed overhead Floor Stand, with an included Flex Stand for moving that same camera. Its difference from a camera-only kit is the extra household equipment: Nanit lists a Sound + Light Machine and a small Breathing Band sized for 0–3 months, along with a three-month Sleep Plan trial. It does not list a parent display. Choose it for an overhead nursery view plus a portable second placement and the sound/light add-on—not for two simultaneous rooms or a Wi-Fi-free receiver.
One camera, two ways to place it
The included Floor Stand is the main fixed position. Before choosing it, measure the space beside the crib: the manufacturer lists a 12-inch-wide base and a maximum stand height of 67 inches. The camera still needs its adapter, a nearby outlet and a safely routed cable. Follow the model’s installation guidance; a floor stand is not a promise that any spot beside a crib is suitable. A fixed overhead view may be useful when you want to frame the sleep space from above, but the base and cord have to fit your actual room.
The Flex Stand is a different position for the same camera, not an extra camera or a second feed. It is the more portable option for a trip or another powered room, but the app camera still needs a secure Wi-Fi network there. Nanit says Breathing Motion monitoring can operate with the Flex Stand and compatible patterned wear; its FAQ recommends an overhead mount for nightly use and says the Flex position is not compatible with the full Insights experience. In other words, portability changes where the camera sits, not the network or power it needs and not the kit’s simultaneous room count.
Phone-first means network-dependent
The bundle lists the Nanit Pro camera and companion app, not a separate parent receiver. Core live audio and video are available without an Insights plan according to Nanit’s support material, but away-from-home phone viewing needs the camera’s configured Wi-Fi and an internet connection. The camera is adapter-powered, so the included stands and trial do not create battery backup. If your essential need is to keep watching during a Wi-Fi outage, or to glance at a separate screen without depending on the network, compare a local radio monitor instead. If you want a dedicated Nanit screen, choose an exact bundle option that actually includes the 8-inch Home display; do not infer it from the shared app brand.
Sound, light and the included band
The Sound + Light Machine adds a separate bedside device, but its setup is not wholly folded into one control surface. Nanit says the dedicated Sound + Light app is used to customize sounds and colors; when both products use the same account credentials, the Nanit app can control volume, brightness and on/off. That can be convenient if you already plan to use the monitor app, while families who want a single local control path should consider whether another connected device and app suit their routine.
The product page identifies the included wearable as the small Breathing Band for 0–3 months. Check that exact size against the child and the current instructions rather than assuming it will continue to fit as the child grows. A band and camera-based movement feature are not medical monitoring, a diagnosis or a guarantee of safety. Nanit’s own safety disclaimer makes that boundary explicit; ordinary adult supervision and safe-sleep practices still matter.
Trial terms are not permanent hardware
Nanit lists a three-month Sleep Plan trial with the bundle and notes that trial enrollment auto-renews unless canceled. Treat the trial as temporary access, not as a permanent included service: check the current enrollment, renewal and cancellation terms when ordering. The bundle’s fixed overhead arrangement is the relevant placement for full sleep insights; the Flex Stand is a useful alternate setup but does not keep that full Insights experience. This distinction matters if sleep history is a must-have rather than an optional extra.
Who should compare another configuration?
V322NL makes sense if one camera, an overhead nursery location, an alternate Flex position and the separate Sound + Light device match your plan. Nanit’s product page does not list a Travel Case among the Signature Bundle’s included items, so do not treat the Flex Stand alone as a complete travel kit. If a case is essential, compare a bundle whose exact package page names one. If you need a Home screen, compare a display-included package; if you need two rooms live at once, look at a multi-camera configuration. A local-screen system is the better starting point when network independence outranks the app’s remote access. The useful questions here are practical: can a 12-inch base and cable route work in the nursery, will the destination have power and Wi-Fi, and do you actually want the bundled light/sound unit and short trial?
